It was a frustrating but yet rewarding match for Lleyton Hewitt today. Even with 55 aces did Karlovic lose to the Australian 6-7 (1), 6-7 (4), 7-6 (4), 6-4, 6-3.
Even if he was defeated, he set a new ATP record for the number of aces in a Roland-Garros tournament.
The previous record was helf by Joachim Johansson with 51 and the old record for the French Open 2009 was 37 by the American Andy Roddick.
